Year 3/4 have been hard at work this week exploring conductors and insulators as part of their science learning. Pupils tested a range of materials to discover which ones allow electricity to flow — a brilliant opportunity for hands‑on investigation and problem‑solving.
The excitement didn’t stop there! The children even built their own slide switches, helping them understand how opening and closing a circuit affects the flow of electricity. This practical approach brought their learning to life in such a meaningful way.
From experimenting with materials to constructing working components, Year 3/4 showed fantastic focus and curiosity throughout the lesson.
Super proud of you, Year 3/4 — amazing science learning!
