If you feel that there are exceptional medical, social or pastoral reasons associated with your child and/or family which support admission to a particular school you must indicate that this is the case on your admission application. Please see attached guidance here for more information - Guidance on Exceptional medical, social and pastoral need criterion for school admissions

We look forward to welcoming children and their families to our welcoming and friendly school and the documentation below sets out our admission arrangements both for those wishing to start our school September as well as year transfers.

As well as the main school we offer places in our EYFS/nursery. We have nursery places for children aged three and two year old provision. Please contact the school regarding places.

We encourage and welcome visits from prospective parents in addition to our Open Days.

The  Admission Policies below details the admission arrangements for this current academic year and subsequent years. Please see  Apply for a primary school place | Apply for a primary school place | Hartlepool Borough Council

For those who wish to join our school at any time outside the admission round and the child will be admitted where there are available places, this is known as an 'in year transfer.' Such applications are made by  completing the in-year admissions application form by clicking the link In Year Transfer and returning it to School Admissions, Hartlepool Borough Council, Centre for Excellence in Teaching & Learning, Brierton Lane, Hartlepool, TS25 4BY.

You may also wish to discuss in-year applications with the local authority by contacting the local authority admission team at School Admissions, Hartlepool Borough Council, Centre for Excellence in Teaching & Learning, Brierton Lane, Hartlepool, TS25 4BY, on 01429 284368 or by email at admissionsteam@hartlepool.gov.uk

Where there are places available but more applications than places, the published over subscription criteria, as set out in the current year admission arrangements below will be applied.

If there are no places available, the child will be added to the waiting list as detailed in the admission arrangements.

You will be advised of the outcome of your application in writing as soon as possible. Applicants must be informed of the outcome of their application within 15 school days of receipt, but the aim is to notify applicants of the outcome of their application within 10 school days of receipt.

You have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel if your application is unsuccessful
