At St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, we believe every child deserves the very best start in life. Our nurturing school community is proud to offer high‑quality nursery provision for 3‑ and 4‑year‑olds, giving children a joyful and secure introduction to school. From these early steps through to Year 6, we provide a caring environment where every child is supported to flourish academically, socially and spiritually.
Last term, our Arts and Crafts After School Club at St Joseph’s was full of creativity, imagination and wonderful designs. The children enjoyed a wide range of activities, producing some truly amazing creations to take home and share with their families. These included beautifully designed bracelets, thoughtful kindness stones, personalised keyrings, and a variety of colourful Easter crafts.
Last term, our Year 3 and Year 4 pupils had a fantastic time at Fun Fitness After School Club, held each Tuesday at St Joseph’s. The sessions were packed with energy and excitement, with children taking part in a variety of activities including circuit training, team games and even a fitness treasure hunt. These fun and engaging activities helped pupils to build their fitness, coordination and teamwork skills while having lots of fun along the way.
We were delighted to welcome grown‑ups, babies and toddlers to the very first session of our new Nest mother and baby group at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School — and what a wonderful start it was! The session was filled with smiles, laughter and lots of fun, creating a really relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Families enjoyed spending time together in a warm, friendly space, with little ones happily playing and exploring, while parents had the opportunity to chat, connect and get to know one another.
Our nursery is a vibrant, play‑rich environment where curiosity is encouraged and every child is known and valued. Skilled early‑years practitioners create a calm and purposeful setting that helps children develop independence, confidence and a love of learning.
