At St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, we believe every child deserves the very best start in life. From these early steps through to Year 6, we provide a caring environment where every child is supported to flourish academically, socially and spiritually.
Yesterday, pupils in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 enjoyed a wonderful trip to the local library. The children were treated to a special performance of the book Spirit Dog, listening carefully as the story was brought to life. They also had great fun joining in with the accompanying songs, using a variety of musical instruments to enhance the performance.
Today, our EYFS children enjoyed a fantastic and memorable visit from Pets for People. The children were thrilled to meet and learn about a fascinating range of animals, including a friendly rabbit, a slow‑moving tortoise, a giant African land snail, and a hissing cockroach!
Our Year 3 and 4 pupils delighted everyone with their creativity during this year’s Easter Cap Competition. The children proudly showcased a wonderful range of imaginative and colourful designs, each one reflecting the time, effort, and thought they had put into their creations.
Our nursery is a vibrant, play‑rich environment where curiosity is encouraged and every child is known and valued. Skilled early‑years practitioners create a calm and purposeful setting that helps children develop independence, confidence and a love of learning.
