What a brilliant day for our Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 pupils at the South Community Hub!
The children had the fantastic opportunity to meet author Lisette Auton, hear her inspiring story, and ask questions about her journey as a writer. They were even able to use their World Book Day tokens to choose a free book — and had the extra excitement of getting them personally signed!
It was a wonderful experience that truly helped to spark and deepen a love of reading. Opportunities like this bring books to life and help our pupils see themselves as readers, thinkers and storytellers.
