Our Nursery children were thrilled to welcome Pam Readman from the local library, who led a joyful and interactive session filled with storytelling, nursery rhymes, and musical exploration. Parents joined in too, creating a warm and shared family experience that celebrated the joy of reading.
Each child left with a free book and activity pack, helping the learning continue at home and encouraging a lifelong love of stories.
Meanwhile, our Reception pupils have been taking learning into the community through weekly visits to the local Community Hub. During these sessions, children read stories, joined knitting groups, and took part in shared activities with residents. These experiences helped develop confidence, communication skills, and intergenerational friendships, fostering a sense of belonging and care.
We are proud of our pupils for embracing these opportunities to learn, share, and connect with others. These partnerships show how education and community can work hand in hand to create meaningful experiences for all.
