PE at St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School
At St. Joseph’s we understand the importance of a positive experience of sport and physical activity at a young age, a positive experience can build a lifetime habit of participation.
We believe that physical activity is essential when aiming to create and sustain a healthy school. Through physical education children develop pupils’ physical competence, confidence and skills and helps promote positive attitudes towards active and healthy lifestyles, across the range of areas of activity. Our whole school approach is to provide a large range of opportunities to be physically active and support learning- promoting the health and well-being of all. All pupils should have the opportunity to live healthy and active lives.
