Leave of absence request
The Department for Education (DfE) announced important amendments to legislation surrounding holidays in term time, and we can only authorise absence in "exceptional circumstances". The new law gives no entitlement to parents to take their child on holiday during term time. Any application for leave must only be in exceptional circumstances, the fact that the holiday is cheaper is not classed as an exceptional circumstance.
